Welcome to Sunday Social

Sunday Social is a place to mingle, collaborate, and share our blogs. Sunday Social is one more place where you can share a post that maybe didn’t get as much feedback as you were hoping for. Sunday Social is a place to meet new bloggers.

This weekly post is a “wild card” of sorts. There aren’t many rules but I do ask that you follow a few guidelines.

  • Give honest, constructive feedback, but always be courteous.
  • If someone takes the time to comment on your post, please return the favor and check out their endeavors too.

How do you participate?

It’s very easy.

  • Copy and paste the link to your blog or a specific blog post in the comment section below.
  • Give us a little blurb about your blog, the feedback you are looking for, or if you are just hoping to meet some new blogger buddies.

Voila! That’s it.

See you same time again next week!

If you feel inclined, please re-blog this post to help the party grow.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please post those in the comment section as well.

I look forward to reading everyone’s posts.

Cheers! *Clink*.

I love reading about everything. I'm not a book snob. Lately I have been "reading" a lot of picture books to my toddler and baby. In my past life before motherhood, I was a professional technical editor and writer.

  1. Hey there everyone,

Today I’m telling the tale of something I’ve always wanted but the cards just haven’t played to my favor with just yet. Now that I’m in a better position, perhaps sometime soon I can embark on this project. Ever since I was a kid I’ve wanted one specific thing and that’s not changed. What is that one thing? Read to find out! https://inkedautist.wordpress.com/2018/05/04/the-one-material-thing-i-want-but-do-not-yet-have/

    1. LOL Trina, at first, I read “thanks for nothing” and I was a bit shocked… And I thought to myself, “well, that’s kind of rude, maybe I should write a note to Trina to see what’s up with her…” And then I read again, and I’ve been laughing in front of my screen ever since… Well, I might not still be laughing if you are reading this in September, or in 2020… But I laughed… A lot.

      Yes, I am a bit tired 😛

  3. Many thanks for the opportunity to share a post. I wrote this poem earlier today (Sunday 6 May), https://newauthoronline.com/2018/05/06/i-saw-flowers-on-my-way-through-yonder-woods-today/.

I have been writing poetry since 2012 and have published several collections, the latest of which is entitled “My Old Clock I Wind”.

I lost the majority of my eyesight at 18-months-old due to a blood clot on the brain. Not being able to read print, I use software called Job Access with Speech (or JAWS) which converts text into speech and braille enabling me to use a standard Windows computer. I can see light and dark and discern the outline of objects and use a guide dog called Trigger to get around.

    Kind regards, Kevin

  4. HI Rachel! Always glad to meet new friends. Thanks for the opportunity. My blog is a variety of posts. The main theme is that I want to spread joy with my posts. Though sometimes I do touch on more heavier subjects too.
I also enjoy finding pictures on Pinterest and writing a story around them. Here is a link from a short story about the innocence of children. Hope you enjoy it. I always enjoy feedback, love getting to know my readers through the comments. Getting to know readers and fellow bloggers is the best part about blogging!
    Happy Sunday to you!
