Welcome to Sunday Social

Sunday Social is a place to mingle, collaborate, and share our blogs. Sunday Social is one more place where you can share a post that maybe didn’t get as much feedback as you were hoping for. Sunday Social is a place to meet new bloggers.

This weekly post is a “wild card” of sorts. There aren’t many rules but I do ask that you follow a few guidelines.

  • Give honest, constructive feedback, but always be courteous.
  • If someone takes the time to comment on your post, please return the favor and check out their endeavors too.

How do you participate?

It’s very easy.

  • Copy and paste the link to your blog or a specific blog post in the comment section below.
  • Give us a little blurb about your blog, the feedback you are looking for, or if you are just hoping to meet some new blogger buddies.

Voila! That’s it.

See you same time again next week!

If you feel inclined, please re-blog this post to help the party grow.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please post those in the comment section as well.

I look forward to reading everyone’s posts.

Cheers! *Clink*.

I love reading about everything. I'm not a book snob. Lately I have been "reading" a lot of picture books to my toddler and baby. In my past life before motherhood, I was a professional technical editor and writer.

  1. Hi, Rachel and everyone lucky enough to be part of this wonderful opportunity… I’m including a link to my latest post (“Like Frank Sinatra Said, ‘Regrets, I’ve Had A…Phew,’Thank Goodness For Silver Linings!”). As per my usual offering, it is my creative way of speaking to my personal growth–with an eye to entertaining, supporting, and encouraging others who can relate in any number of ways…I like to think, as with any art, my offering is open to several levels of interpretation–thus allowing for others to take away what is meant for them 🙂 https://wordpress.com/post/trulyunplugged.com/20256
I’m looking forward to reading/commenting on what you share as well 🙂

  2. Hi all! 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity to share, Rachel. 🙂 This is Emilia from Poland. I have a lot of interests, some of them are languages (especially Celtic, Scandinavian, Finnougrian, and linguistics in general), everything about names, Celtic and Nordic folklore, and many more. I blog about everything that interests me, that I love, that matters to me, everything I find fascinating. This blog is also like a second diary for me, so there are lots of my inner thoughts, feelings, and updates about my daily life. I am blind and struggle with several difficulties and also write about it all – to spread the awareness and to have the outlet. I have a Russian blue cat named Misha who also likes to write something from time to time. I have two regular series on my blog, one is song of the day series, because I love music of many kinds and genres and love to share it with people who can get it. Another series is question of the day, which lets me get to know my readers better and lets them get to know me as well.

Would love to see some like-minded people on my blog, as well as hear your opinions/suggestions if you have any. 🙂

    1. Hi Carol! Welcome to the party. While the post goes up on Sunday there are a few people who post throughout the week, which is great too! I’m going to go look at your blog now.

  4. Hi, Rachel! I’m an American who lives in Europe with my German hubby. I blog about travel and culture at jadicampbell.com. I’m President of the Writers in Stuttgart, a job that’s like herding cats. Try it some time, and good luck…

    1. Hi Jadi! A warm welcome to Sunday Social. I’m excited to explore your blog. What an exciting role you have. I just joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I’ve already learned so much!
