Sunday Social

I created Sunday Social as a way to mingle, collaborate, and share our blogs. Sunday Social is one more place where you can share a post that maybe didn’t get as much feedback as you were hoping for. Sunday Social is a place to meet new bloggers.

This weekly post is a “wild card” of sorts. There aren’t many rules but I do ask that you follow a few guidelines.

  • Give honest, constructive feedback, but always be courteous.
  • If someone takes the time to comment on your post, please return the favor and check out their endeavors too.

How do you participate?

It’s very easy.

  • Copy and paste the link to your blog or a specific blog post in the comment section below.
  • Give us a little blurb about your blog, the feedback you are looking for, or if you are just hoping to meet some new blogger buddies.

Voila! That’s it.

See you same time again next week!

If you feel inclined, please re-blog to help this party grow.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please post those in the comment section as well.

I look forward to reading everyone’s posts.

Cheers! *Clink*

I love reading about everything. I'm not a book snob. Lately I have been "reading" a lot of picture books to my toddler and baby. In my past life before motherhood, I was a professional technical editor and writer.

  1. Hello Rachel!

I am glad to participate to this Sunday event again 🙂 Such a lovely way to mingle with other bloggers!

I am Cyranny, and I am the host of The Cove, a convenience blog where I share fictional stories, poetry, life anecdotes, humor and pictures of all sorts…. And I really like to interract with fellow bloggers!

So here’s the link to one of my latest stories, a bit on the fantasy side… Hoping some of you will enjoy it!

I’ll come back later to see the updates! A great Sunday to you all 🙂 xx

      1. I really enjoy this event, Rachel! Unfortunately, this afternoon/evening, I am at work, so I am checking how things are going in between calls, and tasks that need to be done, but I’ll be back several times this evening to read the other bloggers’ posts and exchange a bit 🙂 xx

  2. Hello all,

Last week was just an intro to me and who I am. This week I’d like to explain one of my autistic oddities so maybe some people will understand better. Almost everywhere I go (including on WP where I get a few trolls) I have some smart aleck ask me “What’s up with those (short) shorts?” I know it’s so passé for men but I do have a reason for it. I wrote about that so maybe people won’t be so judgmental and you could understand the “why” behind it:

As a follow up to this, I wrote a guide on how to cut the perfect pair of “Davy” Dukes (my male equivalent term for Daisy Dukes) for the guys so inclined to experiment with the look. Don’t be afraid to give it a try, you might like it. 😉 https://inkedautist.wordpress.com/2017/11/15/inked-autist-style-davy-dukes-the-complete-guide/

      1. Thank you so much, Cyranny! My muse that I write to is named Huguette, my name is Kim…I’m so glad you enjoyed the read and I love your words, “behind the mask”! Thank you, Rachel, for hosting this lovely social, I’ve had fun!

  3. Hi Rachel!
That’s a really cool idea, it’s a lovely thought and thank you for taking the initiative. 🙂
My name is Jolene and growing up I’ve always had so much to say, but not that you would know it, judging by what I actually ended up saying. I started this SoMuchToTellYou with the intention of it being a diary of sorts (thoughts). Since then it has taken on a life of its own and now I use it as an outlet for my travels as well as my occasional musings on life.
As my first entry I’d like to share a poem – “Almost Friends”. After all, isn’t the blogosphere all about finding friendships in the unlikeliest of places…

    Thanks!

  5. Hi, Rachel…and everyone else…I’ll make a point of reading your posts over the next couple days (after work)…but, because I used up my day writing today’s post, my brain is tired and I’m about to wind down/go to sleep. I’m attaching a link for today’s post before your invitation/platform gets lost in a flood of new posts, Rachel–and I apologize for posting and signing off…but, as I said, I will be back..with bells on in fact. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to connect with you and other fantastic souls. “See you soon 🙂

  6. Hi Rachel! Hi everyone! I am more or less dying in the midst of fighting children, having been sick all weekend, and too much snow and cold. But if you feel inclined to stop by and read about other things I prefer to spend my time doing, please do:

And do support Rachel’s endeavor and each other! I will try to visit a few of you when I am feeling better!
